The week is almost over.....

wow this week and last week have gone by so fast...
Went to the seminar last week for 3 days to learn about TEACCH program, organized teaching for kids with autism. My two youngest are autistic. What a great program this is and easy to use, their school is using it and now I am using it at home.
Didn´t do much stitching last week but have been doing some stitching since last weekend. Almost finished a picture called Cold Wind Blows that is in the latest Stoney Creek Magazine. It´s a snowman of course, I like snowmen.. Also did a little bit on my crochet project.
Well I´m off to do some cleaning and errands today, will post a picture of my snowman as soon as it´s all finished.

The weekend

Had a good weekend. My youngest daughter and I dogsitted for a friend of mine, it was nice to have a dog around except the cats didnt like it too much.. The weather was good so we had fun outside playing the dog, his name is Teddy Bear. He is back to his home now.

I have been enjoying doing some cross stitching today, was working on a picture I got for christmas 2008 from my mom, its from Dimentions called Mother´s Love. Found my cross stitch travelkit.. glad to have that back in my purse.

Tomorrow I am off to a seminar for 3 days, won´t be doing much stitching this week I think, but I hope I will be able to get a little bit done.

Tuesday

Stitch a small picture for my oldest daughter, started it on sunday finished it last night.. Otherwise I have been doing some crochet, its fun and relaxing - easy to take with me and do anywhere!! Going to take a picture of the picture I did for my daughter and put it here.... not sure if I know how to do that but will try.

The weekend

Well its saturday... been lazy today,

I am looking for my small cross stitching travelbag.. I take it with me when I need to go somewhere with my kids and have time to stitch while waiting. I had it with me when I took my youngest girl to the eyedoctor for new glasses but cant remember where I put it after we got home!! wanted to finish the stitching today.

But I also want to go to my friends house and start a new crochet item.. I know there is so much I want to do today, that I am not doing anything..

The weather is good at least- sunshine but a little cold, no rain or snow!

And I managed to put a picture on the site... good for me. Still trying to learn how this all works here. Think this will be fun.

The weather here in Iceland is good today. 5°C = 41°F ... not bad, it rained a bit this morning but afternoon has been good.

Filled my car up with gas today, wow that was only 12000 iskr.. just over $93!!! wonder how long that will last.....

Going to do some knitting now
